Clinical guide for management of hypoxemia in children for suspected/confirmed COVID-19
Currently available evidences from all over the world show that Pediatrics patients constitute only 1-5% of all cases of COIVD-19. Generally children presents as asymptomatic to mild/moderate disease. Among who became symptomatic very small proportion of those aged less than 19 years have
developed severe (2.5%) or critical disease (0.2%). Excellent supportive care including the use of supplemental oxygen for hypoxemia, remain the cornerstone of management. This document aims to help clinicians define and manage hypoxemia in Children.
